ESG Committee

LG U+ runs the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee under the Board of Directors, the highest decision-making body, to improve environmental, social, and governance practices in business.
The committee is composed of four independent directors and one internal director with ESG expertise to secure professionalism and transparency and is in charge of all decision-making regarding the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in economic, environmental, and social issues.

The ESG Committee belongs to the Board of Directors, Management Meeting, and CFO/CRO.
            The Board of Directors has five members: the Audit Committee (Audit
            Assistance Team), the Finance Committee, Independent Diretor Candidate
            Recommendation Committee, the Internal Transactions Committee, and
            the ESG Committee.
            Among these, the ESG Committee belongs to the following:
            1. Secretariat : Foreign strategy
            2. Support department: ESG Team
            The ESG executive council shares the selection and progress of ESG
            strategic tasks at twice a year, and related details are as follows.
            1. Safety/Health/Environment
            2. Labor/Human Rights
            3. Supply chain management
            4. Information protection (security)
            5. Customer Value (Quality Committee)
            6. Governance/ethical management
            7. Strategy
            8. Social contributions/external communication
